MEK Peroxide (Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide) is the catalyst of choice for polyester resins, casting, tooling, vinyl ester, ISO resins, and gelcoats. When this catalyst is mixed with the resin or gelcoat, a powerful chemical reaction takes place, generating heat that swiftly cures and hardens the material. One gallon will cure approximately 100 gallons of resin and 50 gallons of gelcoat.
