Foam Brush

Many people prefer using foam brushes for applying stains and some finishes – foam brushes apply the material well, and can be thrown away after use.

These wooden-handled brushes are constructed to simulate the flexibility of bristles by using a plastic insert bonded to the foam. This stiffens the brush so that it closely mimics the resistance of bristles to bending. (Foam brushes cannot be used with shellac and lacquer.)
